Paul Skenes Struck Out the First Seven Batters He Faced in His Second MLB Start and Might Be the Nastiest Dude We've Ever Seen

Holy shit, this guy is unbelievable. I feel like I remember the hype around Stephen Strasburg being a little bigger than that of Skenes right now, but that may not be the case for long because it looks like there's a real chance this is the most disgusting pitcher we've seen in quite some time. He's throwing fastballs at 101 MPH that break like sinkers.

I believe I speak for every fan of the game of baseball in saying I just pray Skenes is able to stay relatively healthy for an entire career. It seems like half of the big-name pitchers in the sport have gone down with season-ending injuries this season and I just want to be able to watch this guy throw the baseball because he's unreal at it.

Imagine if Skenes never transferred to LSU and he was serving in the Air Force right now? Obviously that's a more noble profession, but holy fuck, this guy found his way into the right line of work.
