The Ole Miss Radio Broadcast Went to Commercial Before Mississippi State Even Crossed Home Plate After Walking Off the Rebels To End Their Season

The Ole Miss radio broadcaster is a guy I'd be proud to have in my corner any day. Even at the conclusion of a 27-29 baseball season, he's ready to throw to commercial break before Mississippi State's Connor Hujsack even made it around the bases after his walk-off homer. That's the kind of dedication and pettiness I expect from an SEC broadcast crew.

What a tough way to end the year, though. You get through 26 outs without allowing a run and think you're about to advance to the double-elimination portion of the SEC Tournament with a chance to go on a run and potentially save your season and you give up a walk-off pimp job to your in-state rival instead. Brutal scenes.

If there's any positive for the Rebs, we had the King of the South on-site to witness the final pitch of the year and bring more insight to the people than the Ole Miss radio crew was willing to:

Heartbreaker. You hate to see it.
