NETFLIX

1. Hit Man

This is a brand new rom com from Linklater that is getting rave reviews so far. Our very own Goochman said its one of his favorites of the year.

2. Kicking and Screaming

This is one of my favorite turn-off-your brain comedies from this era. It's not the funniest or or best, just really damn solid and easy to watch.

3. 1917

One of the best war movies ever made AND one of the more innovate movies you'll ever see. The presented one take is crazy.

June 1st: 1917, Ali, Detective Pikachu, Divergent, Kicking and Screaming, National Security, SWAT, The Breakfast Club, The Conjuring, The Lego Movie

MAX

1. House of the Dragon S2

This is the biggest show on HBO so you gotta get on the train while you can.

2. Uncut Gems

I've found that this movie is tough to recommend BUT I will continue to do so because the people that dig it, REALLY dig it. Just be prepared for a full on anxiety attack.

3. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon

This is obviously a benchmark movie for the foreign film industry but not a ton of people have seen it. Highly recommend, though. Fantastic action.

June 1st: 50/50, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Demolition, The Disaster Artist, Mamma Mia, Overlord, Splice, Uncut Gems

June 13: Hannah Einbinder: Everything Must Go (No idea if it will be good but she rocks in 'Hacks')

June 16th: House of the Dragon

LEAVING MAX

(not disclosed yet for the second month in a row. Shoutout to the WOAT David Zaslav)

HULU

1. The Bear S3

In the same way that House of the Dragon is the tentpole for HBO, the Bear has become that for Hulu. Just a complete and total powerhouse of a show.

2. Prey

I think a lot of people understandably wrote this movie off because the predator sequels were so bad BUT this movie absolutely rocked. The best movie in the franchise since the original by a considerable margin.

3. It Follows

This is a pretty cool horror movie that is still kind of under the radar. Great watch if you're looking for something new.

June 1st: Annapolis, Anchorman, Blades of Glory, Borat, Click, The Day After Tomorrow, Hobbs and Shaw, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Fight Club, Independence Day, It Follows, Joker, Lord of War, Mirrors, The New Guy, Office Space, Silent Hill, Split, Van Helsing

June 3rd: Bullet Train

June 22nd: Prey

June 27th: The Bear S3

June 14th: Europa Report

June 22nd: The Meg

PRIME VIDEO

1. The Boys S4

Again, like with The Bear and House of the Dragon, this is the streamers banner show. Tough to top Soldier Boy but I'm hearing some very exciting things about the cast.

2. Promising Young Woman

A cool, sleek thriller with a collection of great scenes.

3. A Knights Tale

One of my favorite easy to watch movies that reminds me of how much we miss Heath Ledger.

June 1st: The taking of Pelham 123, Major League, Jerry Maguire, A Knights Tale, A League of Their Own

June 10th: Dumb Money

June 13th: The Boys S4
