Cubs Pitcher Shota Iminaga's Locker Has His Name As "Mike Iminaga II" Because That Is His Name When He Orders Coffee

I love Shota Iminaga so much. He just came to the Cubs this year from Japan and has embraced that city and this country like no other. He has a sub 2 ERA, Cubs fans absolutely love him, his bowing after getting a ball from the umpire is incredible, 

and now he is just saying his name is Mike because when he gets coffee thats what he says. You can't find anyone more likable than Shota. 

Mike is also just such a funny name to say randomly. Imagine being a huge Cubs fan who works the coffee shop Shota goes into and he's picking up a coffee for Mike. Would you say like "hey man I think thats the wrong coffee, you aren't Mike" or do you just let him do whatever he wants because he's Shota. 

I wish all athletes were like Shota. More outgoing and doing funny shit that keeps things light hearted. Need fewer Mike Trouts, and more Mike Iminagas. 

And this is why I love doing Steele The Show because I get to learn about these players more and how normal they are. Oh and I didn't even talk about his putting the II at the end of his name- he just did it because it sounds cool. He is so right because the 2nd after any name is so fucking cool and now I want to be exactly like Shota. He is the best person in the MLB and he dominates on the field and is just having fun.
