The Federer Documentary Promo On The Tower Bridge In London Is The Greatest Ad I've Ever Seen

We're a day away from the 'Federer: Twelve Final Days' documentary premiering on Prime. Roger Federer granted a camera crew exclusive access to the final twelve days of his professional tennis career, leading up to the Laver Cup where he played his last match. Well, this is how they decided to promote the doc —Federer hitting against his younger self draped on the canvas of the Tower Bridge. Very subtle.

Does the Tower Bridge usually display ads like this? I have a feeling the answer is yes, but I'm choosing to ignore that and believe this was a one time thing. Maybe I'm biased, but that's one of the coolest ads I've ever seen. Creativity on another level. Probably annoying for anyone near by constantly hearing a tennis ball being hit, but I'm watching a clip on my phone so I'm not bothered. If I'm living on there and I see that everyday I'm sure as hell watching. This kicks the shit out of that ugly dragon Tyler O'Day plopped on top of the Empire State Building the other day.

As for the doc, I don't expect it to be anything ground breaking besides his post-match embrace with Rafa which I'm sure was very emotional considering how many tears were shed on the court. I'm curious to see how raw the footage is.

Turns out Federer told Nadal he was retiring 10 days before he made it public. On that day Rafa lost to Tiafoe at the US Open. Safe to say he was rattled.

Tomorrow we get another episode of The Boys and this doc. If you need me I'll be on my couch.

P.S. If we're to believe ads are frequently shown on the Tower Bridge then for the next Surviving Barstool we need to rip a full promo on there. Give me Kirk threatening to burn down Jeff D. Lowe's family's home for all of London to see. Let's get this shit international and grow the game.

P.P.S. Unrelated, but the movie Challengers sucked. I don't even know what I was watching half the time and the ending has to be the worst sports movie ending of all time.
