Adam, Eve, Dinosaurs, Arks, Ben Mintz Mirage In the Mountains: Cross Country In A Weekend

Friday at 4:30 pm I got in the truck and began a 3 week journey through the country. Check out the blog behind that reasoning but I have been on quite the adventure since the east coast.

After a long trip through 5 states New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and then Kentucky, Finally got to our first destination.

We originally tried to stop at the Wheeling West Virginia dog track to do a video with some of the dog breeders and trainers at the last dog track in the country. Due to the heat wave, (it was legit 100 degrees from New York to Denver), all the races were canceled. So I needed something else. Just south of Cincinnati in Williamstown, Kentucky there is a very interesting group of museums. One of which is a giant life-sized Ark. Yes Noah's Ark. Another, is a museum that tries to intertwine the Bible and creationism with science. All of these things are interesting. I will hear anyone out.

The jumps the place made to justify how the bible fell into proven science were obvious. It was nice to enjoy in a fan fiction though, like Pride and Prejudice with Zombies or Abraham Lincoln the Vampire slayer. This was The Bible with Dinosaurs, cavemen, and mammoths. It was just pretty interesting.

So leaving Ohio we hightailed to Topeka, Kansas, a midway point between Denver and Florence, Kentucky. After another 10 hours on I-70 and we hit Topeka which had an amazing Hooters. Old School Hooters. On this journey we got a call from Ben. Ben read my last blog and was wondering if I was hitting Denver because Panic was playing Saturday and Sunday. It was an amazing eclipse I could not believe that it had occurred. The stars aligned to allow Ben Mintz to shaman me through a widespread panic concert at Red Rocks. It was so dope. Got into Denver went to Golden and chugged like 10 Coors lights the crispiest of Crispy boys I have ever seen. Widespread Panic with Ben Mintz is a legit trip without any drugs.

We then did a podcast right after. We are still editing that due to how crazy that podcast got. We have to edit a lot of it. It was wild. Anyway, it's been 100 degrees the whole road trip. It legit was 114 degrees at one point. I haven't been in hotter weather. I legit pulled over the car in order to experience such heat. It was wild. We got a lot more road trips left. I am in Vegas for 2 days then heading north and back east in the next coming weeks. It's been a wild time with a lot more to come.
