Another Banner Day For The Lakers: James Worthy Apparently Got Caught On A Hot Mic Talking Shit About The Team, Dealing With Bronny James

I don't even know if telling the truth can be classified as talking shit, but either way. What James Worthy said here is all right. The Lakers keep trying to win now. They do anything and everything and keep on failing. Go ahead and convince yourself the bubble title or the fluke run in the playoffs last year were building blocks or whatever. They are a disaster because they are relying on an injury-prone star and a 39-year old star. Oh, not to mention the constant changing of coaches and everything else.

[Source] - “They (unknown, presumably the Celtics) did it right... They took their time. They waited, while we were trading (Brandon) Ingram, (Julius) Randle… Kentavious Caldwell-Pope gone, brotha up in Sacramento, Malik (Monk) gone and then we weren’t getting anything for it. (Russell) Westbrook gone. The ink will lead back to the problem.”

“Who we gonna be waiting for on the second day? Well, he’s the greatest young player ever right now, Bronny, that’s what I’m gonna say.”

Again, HE'S NOT WRONG. Let Laker fans keep on screaming about how good they are or whatever, everything Worthy said here is true. You gave up all these guys and now, maybe, have another year or two to make it worth a damn. I saw people saying Worthy should be embarrassed, absolutely not. I mean it sucks it was on a hot mic because he's gotta pretend like he's sorry for it or whatever. James Worthy is an all-time player, he was an elite player, however you want to classify it. He should have the right to make fun of the Lakers like the rest of us.

I'm still trying to figure out the funniest outcome for Bronny in the Draft. Either some shit team taking him thinking they can land LeBron, The Lakers taking him too early or a rival taking him right before the Lakers. Those are the options, just not sure which one will be funnier for someone who hates the Lakers. Let James Worthy speak freely. That's the lesson here.
