Would You Rather Get $30K Right Now or Get To Play a Week in the Major Leagues With No Pay?

This is maybe the easiest question of all-time.

Sure, playing even one game in the Major Leagues is every American boy's dream — but that's given the assumption that you earned your way there and are at least close to the level of the guys you're playing against. Would it be any fun at all to get 30 at-bats in the big leagues if you're just going to strike out and look stupid in every one? The only argument for taking the week of baseball is hoping you'd become a big enough story to make more than $30,000 in endorsements after the fact. And maybe that happens and you get the best of both worlds, but there's no guarantee.

The better argument would be getting $30K right now or like $1 million if you could get a hit in your week on the team. Any sensible person would still take the guaranteed money, but then it would funny to watch the guys who thought they could get a base knock off MLB pitching flail at the ball every time.

Results aside, I'm sure getting to hang out in a big league clubhouse for a week would be incredible. That's the dream. But it's not more incredible than having a down payment on a house. Use your brains, guys.
