A Hero Emerges: Viktor Hovland Got Ice Cream Delivered To Him On The 13th Hole At Royal Troon During His Practice Round
Everyone knows if you want to change the vibes, get some good juju flowing your way there's one and only one way to do it. Ice cream.
I've never thought of ice cream on the course. But if it's good enough for Hovland during the practice round at the Open, it's good enough for me at various courses in Cincinnati. I don't know what to tell you. Sometimes you just need a quick cone. Give me a swirl with sprinkles. Simple, direct and fills the ice cream void you want. No need to get crazy with a cone selection - even though I'm a cup over a cone guy. I don't trust my shirts when I'm eating a cone.
And look at the form on Hovland there. That's a man lost in the moment. A man simply enjoying his ice cream before one of the major tournaments. No worries about his short game. No worries about putting or what the 11th at Royal Troon can do to a man. Just a golfer admiring a perfect cone. We've all been there, hell we've all been there sober. Sometimes you get the right mix of flavor, the right cone, the perfect temperature outside and you savor it all up. I assume that's what Hovland is doing here. This is a man oozing confidence and vanilla ice cream right now.
