The Internet Thinks Chris Distefano's Wife Is Going To Leave Him Based On This Podcast Clip
Chris Distefano is one of the biggest comedians on the internet right now. He's been on a bunch of Barstool podcasts and performs all over the country. On top of joking about everything, he brings up his wife a lot in his podcasts and during his jokes:
She recently went on his podcast, Chrissy Chaos:
Coming from the podcast was the clip above, which has gotten over 18 million views on Twitter.
Now the internet has run with this clip and pretty much diagnosed their marriage as being over.
Here are some of the TikTok comments:
It appears most of the people commenting on this clip are neglecting the fact that this came from the official podcast page. Yes, they could be "monetizing" off of a failing marriage, but the vibe from watching the actual podcast was not 100% that. Above, you can watch the full podcast, the part that is clipped out is at the beginning of the episode.
I'm no relationship expert, but it does feel as if the conversation was a little bit more tongue-in-cheek than not, specifically pointing to Jaz saying "I like to fight!"
Chris brought Jaz on with the assumption that she would care that he was going to Costa Rica/Colombia with the fellas, but that did not happen. They then continued to discuss their previous weekend together with their kids in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia. Within a minute of the "I don't care anymore" Jaz compliments Chris of sparking her interest in history. You wouldn't know any of this if you didn't watch the full episode. That's the unfortunate downside of the rise of clip culture, which has resulted in more harm than good.
Just three weeks ago Jaz posted this:
I don't necessarily think that's the post of someone on the brink of divorce due to "indifference." If anything, the producers of this podcast knew exactly what they were doing and it worked.
But who knows. Maybe they'll get divorced in a year and everyone will bring up this blog as proof I am an idiot.
