Davante Adams Is Trying To Lure Tom Brady Out Of Retirement

It 'Club Shay Shay,' Adams said: 'Hell, yeas. I don't care. 58. Tom knows how I feel about him. The other part is, I think I'd be the first person that played with Tom and Aaron (Rodgers), so that would be pretty cool.

'I mean, he's getting older, but I mean he gotta still be able to throw it better than, you know, half these dudes in the league.'

Can Brady still play? Davante sees the perfect situation where Brady becomes a partial owner of the Raiders and then joins the team. I mean if you're a retired athlete you are focused on making sure your wealth stretches as far as it can. Brady investing in the Raiders and becoming an owner then getting the best returns for the group by playing for the team would be next-level money management. I mean it may be the greatest return of all time if he quadrupled the evaluation of the Raiders. The thing is Brady may actually not have it anymore.

He got picked off by Damar Hamlin. I don't know just how indicative this is of whether he can still play, but beach football is pretty serious. No high-level QB would ever take throwing the football around lightly, so you can tell he was legit competing on the beach. Getting picked off by Damar in beach football is one of the weirdest situations. I mean after that fake punt by the Bills trying to win the game is just such a weird move. But back to Davante.

Davante wants to be the first receiver to ever play with both Brady and Rodgers. That would be pretty cool because we could have someone who could compare and contrast them effectively. There are some guys who legit think Rodgers is better but Brady just had more rings due to his situation.

Brady being an owner-player would be pretty cool. Only thing is how does that affect salary caps? If he has stake and pays himself nothing to pay other guys does that give him an unfair advantage?

Something to consider.
