Marvel's Crazy Drone Show At Comic Con Was Mind Blowing
Disney just keeps finding new ways to blow our minds. Whether it's their parks animatronics, crazy stunt shows, mind blowing rides, fancy new lightsabers that retract just like in the movie, actresses that look shockingly similar to the character they're supposed to be playing, or now a MARVEL THEMED DRONE SHOW AT COMIC CON - I don't think that magic well ever runs dry. I mean, shit - I thought the fireworks display over by Cinderella's castle was impressive! They straight up had fans leaving the expo to see Galactus taking over San Diego last night! If anyone was tripping balls they might have given themselves a heart attack!
I don't like being the "I called it!" guy, either, but I gotta admit - I called Disney taking over the drone-show game as soon as I saw one in Abu Dhabi a few years ago.....
I knew the Mouse would change the game once they got their big white gloves on em, and they've already confirmed that thought for me. They had Galactus, Deadpool & Wolverine, the Fantastic Four logo all light up the sky - and it's all so impressive it truly looks like a scene outta the future.
Obviously, the Fantastic Four stuff is a big tease for Marvel's panel on Saturday night - where we will likely learn a lot more about that upcoming movie (and probably find out who's playing Galactus!), along with rumors that we'll get 'Avengers 5'/'Secret Wars' announcements, a 'Blade' update, a 'Daredevil: Born Again' trailer, and maybe even a 'Thunderbolts' trailer! I've got no inside info, so I'm just as curious as you are about what'll be unveiled, but I'm stoked because Marvel always has something up their sleeve for Hall H. Maybe we get confirmation that 'Avengers 5' is going to be an 'Avengers vs X-Men' movie?!
P.S. They actually held a 'Deadpool & Wolverine' screening in Hall H last night, where they brought out the cast - along with a few of the surprise cameo actors from the film - and you can watch that awesome moment HERE, but beware of spoilers for the movie if you haven't seen it yet. It reveals a few of the movie's best surprises.
P.P.S. If you HAVE seen the movie already, check out our recap/review below!
