Duke Will Make You Puke

Back for another Win Total Wednesday, where I predicted which teams will outperform or underperform their win totals. Some people may not love season long bets, but I enjoy forecasting how a team will do. 

Today's play is : 

Duke UNDER 5.5 Wins -165 

Things not to like: 

The Blue Devils are now on their 3rd coach in 4 years. Mike Elko was a stud in Durham, he's gone. Manny Diaz is in, who's just 21-15 in 3 years. 

The offense and defense return just 8 total starters. 

Maalik Murphy takes over at Quarterback, he was at Texas where he started just two games .

The offensive line is going to have problems. The defense was solid last year but returns just 4 starters, none of which are on the defensive line. 

The schedule is brutal. Duke is expected to be favored in just 3 games (Elon,UCONN, and @ Middle Tenn St), they are LONG dogs in 6 games (@ GA Tech, FSU, SMU, @Miami Fl, @NC State, VA Tech). Puts them at 3-6 with swing games @Northwestern, UNC, and @ Wake Forest). I don't think Duke will go 3-0 in those swing games to hit the over, the under is the play.
