Forget Horses, MVP's And NBA Titles - A Bronze Medal Will Have Nikola Jokic Going Nuts Celebrating Like The Happiest Man In The World

Nikola Jokic is one of the most decorated players in the NBA. MVP's, a title, a nickname, all that stuff, he doesn't give a shit. We've seen his reactions to winning a title and MVP - he just wants to go home and hang out with his horses. But this? This is where we get to see Nikola Jokic let loose. A bronze medal for his country with his boys. I know it means different to a country like Serbia compared to the US. We're expected to win gold no matter who we send. Serbia getting a medal is huge for a country that lives and dies with basketball too.

Now we know that Jokic cares about basketball. I really wondered if we'd truly see him celebrate. I'm not even talking about some dancing at the club with his Nuggets teammates. I'm talking letting loose, chanting/singing for your coach and truly looking happy. This is it. He's arguably the happiest man in the world right now and it didn't even take a gold medal. Sure, he had a triple-double today because Jokic always gets a triple-double. But the man won a medal for his country and gets to celebrate with his boys. That's ultimately what it comes down to.

I know the whole Jokic bit is not caring about basketball, but this proves that's false. He just treats the NBA differently. It's not his number one concern. He's a country over club guy clearly.
