I will stick with my original take that I died on a hill on while on Pardon My Take. Zach Wilson has unique arm talent and off-platform throwing ability. The fact that he is balling out is not surprising to me. Like legit he is a special QB. I know it sounds crazy after the dumpster fire of a Jets season he had. But we are about to have Sam Darnold as a starter in Minnesota, Zach Wilson might get a fresh start. 

Like he was able to produce a touchdown in a preseason game with sub-par protection (Safety wasn't exactly his fault)

He kinda balled out in the opportunity he had. 

He is not a bad quarterback, he was in a very bad situation that got worse. The plan was to put Wilson behind Rodgers and let him grow, unfortunately, he just got thrown in the fire, and grass can't grow where the sun doesn't shine. Patrick Mahomes sat his first year and got the growth and speed needed to play NFL football. If Mahomes had to start off the bat he may have looked exactly like Zach Wilson did in NY. Zach Wilson played like a drunk Patrick Mahomes, Denver is a great place to get sober, it's easier to play High than drunk. Plus the altitude is more like Utah where he grew up, so his play style may be better suited for mile-high than sea level. The ball spins differently in the thin air.
