LeBron And Steph Curry Can't Stop Sending Signals And Continue To Feed The Idea Of Teaming Up One Day

Without a doubt, one of the best parts of watching Team USA win Gold in the Olympics was finally being able to see the trio of living legends Steph/LeBron/KD all be on the same team and share the floor together. While normally this combination of talent results in people invalidating your accomplishments (see: KD going to GS), now that we were all on the same team for the Olympics, it was as awesome as it gets to watch. With these three only having a handful of seasons left before we officially move onto the next era of NBA basketball, it was the perfect way to enjoy three of the greatest players to ever do it.

One of the storylines coming out of the Olympics was how badly Steph & LeBron needed to team up and actually play together in the NBA, and as a completely biased hater of both the Warriors and Lakers, I have to disagree. I could live without it to be honest. They can both waste their final years on their sinking teams for all I care. Now over a week after the Olympics have ended, the love fest is still going so strong that it's getting hard to ignore how much LeBron and Steph are flirting with each other.

Like all things with the NBA, it starts on social media. When you want to know what a player thinks/wants to do, all you need to do is go to their socials. So when out of the blue we get this collaborative post between Steph and LeBron, it's certainly noticeable

Interesting that KD wasn't included in this collab post isn't it? Maybe, maybe not, but you have to remember the breadcrumbs that have led up to something like this. There was LeBron changing his profile pic to what on the surface looks like the entire team, but you look closer and he's sitting right by Curry.

Then there was Curry dropping hints that one day he may no longer be a Warrior

combined with the reports from last week that GS/LAL were discussing a LeBron trade before Klutch Sports killed it because Rich Paul didn't want LeBron catching flack for switching teams 4 times in his career

which was then followed by this idea that the Warriors are suddenly positioned to make a big splash trade at some point

it all just makes you wonder. As we know with this kind of stuff stuff, usually where there's smoke there's eventually a fire. I'll remind you, LeBron can be traded after December 14th, so just keep that in mind.

The bigger question of course is who's going where? Given that Klutch already blocked LeBron to GS and Steph is sneaky dropping hints of a new home one day, my guess is Steph to the Lakers. They need a point guard and Steph is posting about "same team…winning team", we've certainly seen crazier shit happen. As we've seen with pretty much every Team USA roster for the last few decades, someone ends up joining forces. It's only a matter of time before we find out who that ends up being with the 2024 Olympic roster, and given how public Steph and LeBron are flirting with each other, I think the early money has to be on them being the duo.

Is this all crazy? Yes. But unrealistic? Not if you've been paying attention.
