Travis Hunter Put Together a Season's Worth of Highlights En Route to 132 Yards and 3 Touchdowns in Colorado's Season Opener

Colorado didn't necessarily look convincing all the way through its 31-26 win over North Dakota State to open the 2024 season, but Travis Hunter sure did. This guy is a cheat code.

Hunter hauled in a touchdown in what will likely still be in contention for the catch of the year at the end of the season, scored two more times and ended up with 132 yards in the Buffs' season-opening win. And oh yeah, he played the entire game on defense, too.

It was pretty widely accepted that Hunter would go into the NFL as a defensive back, but I don't know how you don't give this guy a look at wide receiver. The way he contorts his body to catch every football within spitting distance is insane. I don't know what all the analytics say about what kind of defender he is, but you don't have to watch him at wideout for too long to see that he's a special talent.

We didn't really learn all that much about Colorado as a team from this game, but people are going to tune in every week to watch this team regardless of its record and they're going to be treated to a show when Shedeur Sanders looks for No. 12.
