Patrick Mahomes Perfectly Twisted The Knife And Pissed Off Ravens Fans Even More By Telling Isaiah Likely To Wear White Cleats Next Time

This might sound crazy, but I like Patrick Mahomes. I have no ties to the AFC, watching greatness is cool and Mahomes does cool shit. Count me in. So watching him twist the knife into the back of the Ravens with a backhanded advice like this just makes me smile. It's a subtle dagger that Likely was out of bounds and the Chiefs now have a win and the tiebreaker for home field if it comes to it. But you know what? He's right. Take advantage of all the little things. People wear things all the time to help get away with a hold or the white cleat to blur the line for out of bounds. There's nothing that stops you from taking advantage of it.

There's also the fact the Chiefs have earned the right to say whatever you want. You win three Super Bowls in 4 years, you go back-to-back, you win game 1, say whatever you want. I'm very pro-shit talking, have made that clear. But the Chiefs get to do it in a different way because they win. That's just the way my brain works. I'm also a big fan of subtle shit talking. This is what Mahomes is doing here and making fun of Likely having one toe out. Did the Chiefs steal a win? Who cares. It's a win, that's all that matters in sports.

I also want these teams to hate each other. I want rivalries back in sports, I want guys to be pissed at each other in sports. It's what makes sports fun. Feel safe in saying both these teams should be in the playoffs, we can see them play each other again. I want bad blood. You have the Ravens, Bills, Bengals, etc all trying to take shots at the Chiefs and knock them off. It's what sports has always been built on. Winners and losers, shit talking, trying to get to the top. That's it. That's the whole premise of this thing. Keep twisting the knife after a win and then go do it again.
