'I Can Get 22 Of Us, Go Out There And Whoop These Guys Asses' - Fuck It, Let Lawrence Taylor And Other Giants Legends Play This Season

Lawrence Taylor is the best defensive player that the NFL has ever seen. I will stand by that argument now and forever. So if he thinks he can go out there and make a play? Fuck it, let him. What's the worse that can happen? He gives up a long 3rd down? Used to that watching these guys play. Let Eli back under center, I trust him more than Daniel fucking Jones. At least Eli can win, at least Eli knew how to play quarterback in the NFL. At this point, what do we have to lose? The Giants don't deserve grace from our fanbase, they don't deserve a chance to turn things around. It's been a damn near decade since we actually competed. Sure, a couple trips to the playoffs happened and ended in misery and false hope, that's all we've had. We've been run like a joke of a franchise with mistake after mistake after mistake. From coaching hires (how do you hire Pat fucking Shurmur?) to giving Daniel Jones the contract to missing on draft picks (see Jones, Daniel again) to losing any important game. 

Frankly, I'd feel better if we kept a couple current players - Lawrence, Nabers, Thomas they are good in my book - but let Lawrence Taylor go out there and destroy offensive lines. Again, WE LOOK LIKE SHIT, so who cares. At least play into nostalgia like every other thing in the damn world does. That's all we have right now. Nostalgia and hope that the next quarterback is the guy. 

I don't ask for much out of my teams, I really don't. I just don't want to look like fools who barely can compete at the level. I want to be relevant, I get that every year you can't win. I don't have that deal with the devil. But a decade of sucking ass? Come on. So, yeah, give me Lawrence Taylor, Justin Tuck, Michael Strahan, Chris Snee, Eli, hell give me Plaxico and Amani Toomer. At least for a quarter and give some life to this franchise.
