Desperate Times: The Bengals Couldn't Extend Ja'Marr Chase Because Of Guaranteed Money, Now They Are Charging Fans $99 To Watch An Away Game On A Screen

I will never for the life of me understand people who go to something like this. You know what sucks? Sitting in a stadium seat when you can sit somewhere way more comfortable. You know what sucks even more? Sitting in a stadium seat to watch a game on a screen. I know, crazy thought here, give me my recliner or even my couch. Both options are better. But, hey, when you can't sign Ja'Marr Chase because of guaranteed money, you gotta break out whatever you can

I guess you get $25 to eat some Skyline, but let's call this what it is. A cash grab. A cash grab by a desperate team to get some more money in their pockets. At least be honest about it. Pass around a bucket like it's church and call it the Ja'Marr Chase fund. I know plenty of Bengals fans that would donate some money to that because they are used to seeing their team stink and this is one thing to help them. Hell, you might get more money if you do it that way. It's easier to Venmo someone money instead of going to a stadium and sitting there trying to watch an away game on a screen.

Not to mention this is just adding fuel to Chiefs fans. There's been plenty of shit talking between the two teams and especially the fans online. The Bengals think they are peers to the Chiefs because they beat them in the playoffs that one time. A big accomplishment, don't get me wrong. But you're still the Bengals. You don't have a Super Bowl. So congrats on stopping the start of a 3-peat I guess? You can't do a watch party for a week 2 game without the other fanbase immediately thinking it's your Super Bowl. Again, pass around the bucket. It's a free idea here for you.
