The Sphere Is Already Mind Blowing (Before UFC Noche Has Even Started)

I just walked out into the arena of the Sphere for the first time, and yep - everything you've heard about this place being an insane visual spectacle appears to be accurate. I mean, there's barely even animation on the current graphics displayed on the Sphere, and it's still pretty mind blowing. All of the truss and lighting looks so real and three-dimensional, the big screens look like real jumbotrons, and above everything else - it looks DRASTICALLY different than any UFC or sporting event that has ever come before.

I can't wait to see how this place evolves once the main card starts, taking us from the beginning of time in Mexico to the future. I have a feeling we're in for an incredibly special night. Maybe even more special than the night I had with Dana in the Tunnel of Chaos last night....

Even the concourse was an experience in its own right....it looks like a god damn space station (major Death Star vibes) and has holograms of Dana White speaking fluent Spanish!

You walk into this place and you just feel like you've been transported into the future. It's almost comparable to being at Disney or something outta Wall-E….and this is all just pre-show feelings. I can't imagine how cool it's gonna be once the card gets going.

Hopefully it translates well to television! Prelims go live in 10 minutes! Tune in on ESPN News/ESPN+ and strap in for a historic night of combat sports.

Check out my latest interview with Dana White if you haven't already, where we talk a ton about what went into putting this card on….
