Numbers Never Lie: Bengals Fans Can Stop Their Damn Crying Now That We Got A Deep Dive Of What Quarterback Gets Bailed Out The Most By Refs

I'd typically apologize for all the tweets embedded here since it'll probably blow up your phone, but nope. Not when there's a point to be made. After that PI call on Sunday all we heard was the refs bail out Mahomes all the time. Bengals fans are once again screaming that they are screwed by refs on a regular basis. Bengals fans are on day 4 of still arguing it wasn't pass interference and the NFL just doesn't want Cincinnati to win.

Now there's this. A real shame to see stats not go the way people want to cry about. I'm not one to defend refs, ever. But I am one to point out dumb crying from fans. That's all I've seen from Bengal fans lately. If the NFL really wanted the Bengals to be hurt all the time, why is Burrow the highest on this rate list? Really makes you think. If Bengals fans want to cry, I'd cry about the missed XP or Joe Burrow fumbling, simple things like that.

Don't get me wrong, I love a good sports conspiracy theory. One of my favorite things in the world is finding dumb sports conspiracies, most commonly during the NCAA Tournament bracket reveal. Coach going up against a former team? Clearly the committee did that for ratings. NBA Draft? Conspiracy theory goldmine, especially when it led off with the frozen envelope (need to bring that back). But this conspiracy theory has been shot down.

I get we all want to yell about the Chiefs. We're all sick of them winning and that's before the whole Kelce/Mahomes hate comes flying in from people. But if you want to hate them, you gotta find correct things to yell about. It's only going to turn people into backing the Chiefs more when you cry about anything and everything. Mahomes gets bailed out a ton, but Bengals fans are the ones who can't complain. In fact we should now turn on them any time there's a flag in a game they play against one of our teams.

Numbers never lie. Tough break for Bengals fans, yet again.
