Morgan Wallen Walked Out With Peyton Manning in Full Uniform for His Neyland Stadium Concert
There is not a cooler college in America right now than the University of Tennessee. We have a top five football program, a basketball program coming off a trip to the Elite Eight and the best baseball program in the country that just won a national championship. We have Peyton Manning, one of the best ambassadors for a school to ever exist. We have Nico Iamaleava, a Heisman Trophy candidate quarterback as a freshman. And we have half of the stars in country music, including Morgan Wallen, who performed two sold-out shows at Neyland Stadium this weekend while our football team took the show on the road to manhandle Oklahoma in Norman.
And upon returning to Knoxville after doling out that ass whoopin' to the Sooners, Josh Heupel and Nico joined Manning — who donned his full Vols uniform, helmet and all — to walk out with Wallen for his show. Who's got it better than us?
I love Peyton for still being so locked in to Tennessee after all these years. There aren't very many athletes who have had the amount of success he did at the professional level who even publicly care what happens with their college team, let alone jump at every opportunity to do stuff like this. And someone as famous as him should have probably ditched UT at some point in the last 15 years before we finally made it back, but he didn't. What a guy.
