Uhh WHAT: Vanderbilt (Yes, That One) Leads Alabama 23-14 at Halftime

What the fuck is going on? Are these the same Alabama players that were running Georgia off the field in the first half a week ago? If you were watching this game in black and white, you'd think Vandy was the No. 1 team in the country. The Commodores held the ball for more than 20 minutes in the first half like they were wearing down an inferior opponent.

College football is a very week-to-week sport, but I don't know how many times I've seen a greater variance in a team in consecutive games than going from what the Crimson Tide did last week to this. Give credit to Vanderbilt, though. They're not going to win the SEC or anything, but Diego Pavia is a problem and these guys are clearly good enough to put the fear of God in anybody.
