The Bengals Way: Fans Are Convinced Zac Taylor Threw Joe Burrow Under The Bus For The Coward, Loser Plays Called In Overtime

Welcome back to the Bengals we all knew growing up. The team of dysfunction, the team that always seemed like they should be decent and then something horrendous would happen to them. We're back at that point and you can't argue otherwise when you're sitting at 1-4. Again, if somehow you missed yesterday the Bengals blew a game to the Ravens and everyone immediately is losing their shit on Zac Taylor for calling 3 straight run plays in overtime. He decided a 53-yard field goal was the smart play which obviously didn't work out. Dropped snap, missed kick and next thing you know you blew another game at home.

What you might notice is Zac Taylor claiming Joe Burrow changed the play to run on 1st down. Okay, sure, whatever. Why did you run on 2nd and 3rd? I don't understand how a coach - and this happens all the time in the NFL - can be such a pussy with play calling? Then again, Burrow did throw a TERRIBLE pick that cost the win in regulation, so maybe Taylor was just protecting Joe? Don't forget how much this pass/play sucked:

After this loss you now have Burrow also talking about shit needing to change:

Things that need to change? For sure a comment that makes you say hmm. I get it. Bengals fans had enough of Zac Taylor and calls like this. They're starting to look for any and every reason to fire him. For some reason everyone in this city thinks the Bengals should be winning Super Bowls - not sure why, it's something that quite literally has never happened. Everyone thinks they are in this top tier of teams yet the defense sucks, the line is all over the place and you have losses like this on your resume. Moving on from Taylor is an obvious step, but let's not act like it saves the Bengals season right now. You can't get back that loss to the Pats.
