Fyre Fest 2 Is Seriously Selling "Exclusive VIP Experience Tickets For $1.1 MILLION Dollars" Which Apparently Includes Things Like "Scuba Diving With Billy McFarland" And "Fights On The Beach"

Yahoo Finance - Billy McFarland, the convicted fraudster behind 2017's infamous Fyre Festival, says fans are already snapping up tickets—ranging from $400 to $1.1 million—for the event's second edition.

Despite the original festival’s catastrophic failure, which spawned two documentaries and landed its founder in jail, McFarland has revealed that he hopes to gather 3,000 people for Fyre Fest II.

The 32-year-old disgraced founder revealed yesterday where and when the festival will be taking place across his social media channels—and already, he says, over 1,200 people have applied for tickets.

There's no way anybody is actually buying this right?

Billy McFarland, the dude who basically invented the art of scamming rich kids with the promise of luxury and Instagram clout, is back. Supposedly.

Apparently, prison wasn't enough to teach him that maybe, just maybe, people aren't lining up to get fleeced again.

Fyre Fest 2: Electric Boogaloo, a tropical island getaway off the coast of Mexico.

Billy says for the $1 Million dollar ticket package, he'll take you scuba diving and "bounce around to other islands." Sounds thrilling. But how the fuck does that equate to a million dollars? For a million dollars at a music festival in Mexico, I better be getting a lot more than some scuba lessons with a charlatan. Know what I'm saying?

But here's the thing in the announcement that I wanted to blog about.

Another activity idea McFarland has for the festival is live fights on the beach. Although he hasn’t booked any entertainers yet, he claimed that he’s in talks with Karate Combat to set this up.

Billy's also promising "live fights on the beach." Because nothing screams luxury music festival like a good old-fashioned brawl in the sand.

(Sidebar - expect lots of this type of action there)

And the best part of it all? He hasn't even booked any artists yet!

He's definitely not stressed though. Securing talent is the easiest part by far. Especially when your name carries the weight and is a synonomous with trust as Billy McFarland.

This is the same guy who couldn't organize a picnic in a park, let alone a music festival on a remote island. And the fact that he's already sold 1,200 tickets? Well, let's just say I'm not surprised. There's a sucker born every minute, and Billy McFarland knows exactly how to find them.
