Another Florida State Fan Made a Dog Shit Bet and Actually Followed Through, Potentially Reversing the Curse Put on FSU This Season

Florida State is having one of the worst seasons in college football history. The Seminoles entered the season ranked inside the Top 10, but currently find themselves with a 1-6 record and coming off the program's first ever loss to Duke.

Many would attribute this unthinkable collapse to the reneged bet of Twitter user @321nole, who promised to eat dog shit if FSU lost its second game to Boston College. The Noles did lose, but the owner of the account disappeared off the face of the Earth, seemingly cursing his program forever — or at least until someone took up his mantle. That's where DJ Ventora comes in.

DJ made the same bet for FSU's game this weekend against Duke, which the Noles obviously lost. But this time, the bet was paid.

Wow. This guy has the potential to be a cult hero in Tallahassee. FSU travels to No. 6 Miami next week and if they somehow find a way to win that game, DJ is unquestionably one of the most important people in program history. There's a non-zero chance this kid becomes mentioned alongside Bobby Bowden and Charlie Ward.

The debt has finally been paid. It's likely too late for it to mean anything for this season, but if the Noles get back to where they expect to be next year, they will have DJ to thank.
