'Last Time Somebody Called Me Classless, I Was Drinking Wine Out Of A Bottle' - Dan Campbell Does Not Give A Shit That People Cried About Him Running Up The Score On The Cowboys

I know in the NFL world it's hard to remember what happened a couple weeks ago. It's a very week-to-week league. One big win and you lose the next week and everyone changes how they think about your team. But we simply can't forget Dan Campbell and the Lions beating the hell out of the Cowboys, throwing to tackles and basically mocking everything from refs to the Cowboys. To the point that Chris Christie called Dan Campbell classless.

Now, it's been a little bit, but someone asked him about it. He responded the only way Campbell knows how:

Yeah, I mean, this checks out. I'm a little surprised Dan Campbell drank wine, seems to be strictly a beer fella. But you gotta class it up from time to time and break out some red wine. We're still talking about Dan Campbell here. He's still a tight end at heart. He's not going to waste time putting that wine in a glass, not when he can just take the bottle and go direct from there.

It's really the perfect response. Anyone complaining that teams run up the score are gigantic losers, especially when we're talking about professional sports. These guys are getting paid millions of dollars to play a game. Don't like the Lions kicking your ass up and down the field? I don't know, don't suck. Seems simple. The whole point of sports is to beat the team or person across from you. That's all it's about. I don't care how many times it happens over the course of a game, if you do it over and over again you should be applauded. You really want the Lions to stop scoring or feel bad? In professional football? Absolutely not. Sports aren't for you if you're crying about class and things like that.
