Indiana Football Isn't Just Good, The Hoosiers Are The Best Football Team In The Country

Feed Me Georgia, Miami, Oregon! This is a football school! Never a doubt. Never daunted. Indiana football is undefeated, and I can smell the College Football Playoffs simmering on the back burner for the Indiana Hoosiers. The athletic director better start looking for a spot near Memorial Stadium to block off for a Curt Cignetti statute, because that man is a legend.

Any time this season when the opposing team has gained ground on the Hoosiers, Cig has gotten this team to respond with a score or a huge defensive stop. Hoosier football fans that have been around awhile see the team face adversity and tell themselves, "here it is, the other shoe is dropping, time for us to blow this game." NOT ANYMORE.

Hoosiers got held up at the goal line for 3 straight running plays, had to settle for a FG before half, only to come out of halftime throw an INT and give up a touchdown. You could feel the buttholes tightening all over Hoosier Nation as it appeared the Cinderalla team turned back into a pumpkin.

But right next to that Cignetti statue belongs a statue of the Jackson brothers Tayven and Trayce for putting Indiana on their backs when IU needed them most. This offense hardly missed a beat with their backup in thanks to great coaching and Justice Ellison being an absolute monster out of the back field.

Meanwhile, Ohio State is fighting for their lives to escape with a W against a team that IU laid a 50 burger on last week. There may be teams out there with more talent, but IU is the best TEAM in the country.
