These Scumbag Yankee Fans At Billy's Celebrating After Shohei Ohtani Got Injured Is A Sad Sight To See
Listen, you don't need a full game recap on the Dodgers taking a 2-0 series lead in what largely was a dominant Game 2 performance thanks to the Yankee bats, or lack thereof. I'll leave those to a true ball knower like Hubbs. But I'd be remiss not to blog this video that is surfacing of some pathetic fans cheering after Shohei got injured trying to steal a base up 4-1. I'm sure that'd somehow be neglected by any Yankee fan that blogged or talked about the game anyway. The good news for Dodger fans is that they could send out Klemmer as DH and still win the series. If you're going to react to an injury, at least let it be like the NYC cave after they sent ex-employee Coleman home:
All class from those guys. Injuries are of course apart of sports, but you have to be the biggest sore loser on Earth to root for Shohei to get injured. He hasn't even done much in the World Series anyway, but unless this guy somehow bet Shohei to steal a base, the proof is in the pudding:
Hilarious cope that some of those fans are saying that they were celebrating that he got caught stealing. Yeah, the dude putting up a middle finger 30 seconds after the play and the cheers throughout were definitely just celebrating an out while down 4-1. Anyway, I don't think there's more than like 3 things I'd ever agree with KFC on, but solid take about how miserable of an experience Billy's seems when you're losing:
You couldn't pay me enough money to watch my team lose in a building like that. And this whole thing does nothing to help the "Yankees fans are the worst fanbase in sports" debate but fortunately for the rest of America, regardless of the severity of Shohei's injury, karma is a bitch and this one is over in 4.
