The Miami Dolphins Season Is Officially Over

Eight weeks into the season, and the Miami Dolphins are as dead as my grandparents. There’s no sugarcoating this—this season is done. Tua can say whatever he wants in the press conference about how we once clawed our way from 1-7 to finish 9-8, but here’s the thing: Brian Flores is no longer our head coach. And let’s be real, we aren't closing the year against bottom-tier teams with losing records like we did during that miracle run. This isn’t some Disney comeback story. This time, we’re staring down the barrel of a brutal schedule, and it feels like we’ve already been fatally shot.

Next week? We head to Buffalo. And we all know what that means. We’re about to get our asses handed to us. After that beatdown, we’ll be 2-6. From there, it only gets worse. We still have road games against the Rams, Packers, and Texans. Oh, and let’s not forget we also have to play the 49ers, Browns, and the Jets—twice. Joe Burrow once said that 10 wins usually punches your ticket to the playoffs. If he’s right, let me tell you right now: there’s no chance in hell we’re sniffing the postseason.

Failing to make the playoffs with the talent we have would be one of the most embarrassing moments I’ve experienced as a Dolphins fan—and that’s saying a lot. This franchise has given me a lifetime supply of disappointment, but missing the playoffs with this squad? Unacceptable. If Stephen Ross was truly serious about building a championship contender, he’d clean house yesterday. Trade the big-name players for draft picks. Bring in a general manager who actually knows what they’re doing. But let’s be honest—it’s too late for that. The money’s already been handed out, and since cashing those checks, half the roster has vanished on the field. The production drop-off is as clear as day.

Yes, I know we’ve been without Tua for four weeks, but that’s no excuse. A competent GM—especially one who knows their starting quarterback has played only one full season in four years—would have signed a quality backup. But nope. They gambled on our depth, and we’re paying the price.

As of today, I’m officially done. Boycotting. Never in my life have I been this disgusted with this team. The Arizona Cardinals—who haven’t strung together back-to-back wins since the Stone Age—managed to beat us. It’s beyond embarrassing, and I refuse to sit back and take this abuse year after year.

Until the Dolphins make serious changes, I urge every fan out there to stop giving them your money. No more merchandise. No more season tickets. Don’t buy into their lies. They don’t deserve your loyalty or your hard-earned cash. It’s time we make them feel the pain we’ve felt for years. Maybe then they’ll finally take us seriously.
