Biz Nails Ashanti At The World Series
That's arguably the most authentically absurd podcast clip you're ever gonna see. I don't even know how to package this up efficiently so just watch it all the way through. I wouldn't ask if it wasn't worth it.
Biz is dead fucking serious. Whitney's trying to fly a plane with one wing. The mere mention of baseball causes a head on collision with an immovable word salad tossed in a creamy Japanese ginger vinaigrette.
But then the insane happened just now as Ashanti (no RIP needed) was announced to perform tonight's game.
Which begs me to wonder - are we living in a Matrix or is this a simple coincidence.
I haven't heard the name Ashanti in maybe 15 years, rough guess. And I too thought that she died in a tragic accident and that's because I'm horrible at following solo artists. I just can't keep 'em straight no matter my effort.
Regardless - the probability of these events doesn't add up. And I don't know if this is just a bizarre occurrence or actually feels like that because I'm sandbagging Ashanti's relevance? Or is it possible everything is happening everywhere all at once and Biz has a 3rd-eye that can see ahead. But all the hockey over the years kind of fogs the vision so it comes in these absurd moments where he confuses the greatest living baseball player with the first female performer to hold concurrent 1-2 spots on the Billboard Top 100? Again could just be a simple coincidence but I can't say that for sure.
What I can guarantee is that there's a lot of evidence piling up in favor of a Matrix. I saw a meme the other day about the Fear Factor and Apprentice hosts deciding the future of the world and I laughed long enough to remember it was true. Then I laughed some more because there's a chance the closing scene of MIB (Men In Black) is true. Or that Keanu Reeves was trying to tell us something with the Matrix. Or the moon landing wasn't 100% accurate. Dig as deep as you want - the literature's out there to keep you busy.
My question is whether or not this registers as an occurrence on The Matrix scale or do I just need to be more aware of Ashanti's cultural relevance?
Either way, I did not see this one coming. Not by a long shot.
