The Giants Officially Quit On The Rest Of The Season With Brian Daboll Announcing Daniel Jones Will Still Be The Starting Quarterback

This is it, this is the white flag in announcement form. The only thing I can think of is Brian Daboll is proving a point to John Mara and everyone else that Daniel Jones isn't a starting quarterback. I know there are plenty of problems with this team - Deonte Banks, the offensive line now that Andrew Thomas is hurt and Daniel Jones - but everyone looks at the quarterback first. There's no hope with Daniel Jones. Shit, our next game is Washington, the only team Daniel Jones beats on a regular basis, and I fully expect to get smoked.

Then again everyone in the NFL basically sucks. Somehow the Giants are currently picking 9th in the upcoming draft because of how many bad teams there are. Keep the bad quarterback out there and see if we can get into the top-5. There's nothing worse than what the Giants typically do. Stink, go on a 3-game winning streak for no reason, miss out on the top quarterback and end up picking like 7th. Gotta find a way to get inside the top-5 this year. I don't even know if there's a quarterback out there the team wants to get or who works out, but someone new has to take over. Maybe it's a 1-year rental like a Sam Darnold with the Vikings this year or maybe you find a CJ Stroud. All I know is we can't keep doing the Daniel Jones experiment when we're already halfway through year 6.

It's no secret that Brian Daboll wanted to trade up for any quarterback this past draft. We saw it on Hard Knocks. He was practically begging for a new start because he knows his job is tied to Daniel Jones. I don't even care that Drew Lock is the backup, I just want to see anyone else play quarterback on a Sunday for the team I dedicate way too much time to. Just get us to the draft, the season is done with.
