A Mississippi State Recruit Appeared To Be Contemplating Decommitting With the Bulldogs Down 10-0 to UMass
Nobody was having very much fun at Davis Wade Stadium early in Mississippi State's game against UMass, as the Bulldogs fell behind 10-0 in the first quarter. But perhaps nobody was enjoying the game less than this MSU recruit, who was seemingly giving serious thought to opening his recruitment back up after seeing his future team get dominated by the 2-6 Minutemen.
I can't find that tweet anywhere, so it seems like cooler heads may have prevailed in the end. And the Bulldogs went into halftime with a 21-10 lead, so maybe everything is ok now.
But regardless of whether the tweet ended up being sent or not, staring down the barrel of a 2-10 season — assuming you're able to finish off UMass — and having recruits one click away from decommitting in the first quarter isn't an awesome place to be.
