The Packers Got Out-Classed By The Lions In Lambeau And Matt LaFleur Is Tired Of Answering Questions About Jordan Love's Interceptions

Packers-Lions was viewed as the game of the day today in the NFL. 6-1 vs 6-2 in Lambeau as rain poured down from the heavens. It was a good opportunity to see the class of the NFC go at it. Well, one team took it that way and showed up ready to play. That was the Lions. Goff played mistake free football while the two headed monster of Gibbs and Monty did their thing. The Packers, on the other hand, were all sorts of lost, and as a result got completely worked at home.

Green Bay committed 10 penalties, lost the turnover battle, and had six drops by receivers. When you play a team as good as Detroit is, you can't have that shit happen.

The whole Jordan Love-Brett Favre thing happened again. This time it wasn't a prayer TD being caught, but instead another pick 6. Love never saw the defender and it ended in absolute disaster.

Just can't happen. MLF talked after the game about it. I think this quote is more saying he's tired of the constant questions, but I bet he's also tired of the stupid mistakes.

Honestly given the torrential downpour in Green Bay today, Love's groin injury, and the bye next week, I'm not really sure why he played today at all. Multiple times following plays today Love looked unfit to be out there. He finished the game and led a TD drive late in garbage time, but Malik Willis was warming up all 2nd half for a reason. Love wasn't himself.

Green Bay was without center Josh Myers and Jaire Alexander today, but the Lions were obviously missing Hutchinson so it's tough to play any sort of injury excuse here. Green Bay just played extremely stupid, sloppy, and careless. This is a good team no question about it, but they love to get in the way of themselves a whole lot. LaFleur didn't have them prepared for this game and the players didn't go out there with any energy whatsoever. Good time for a bye week I'd say. 6-3 and in a playoff spot. Could be a hell of a lot worse.

P.S. One thing that's confused me all year is the limited role they give to Josh Jacobs. He's awesome. The way he started this game was madness, in a good way. He was running angry and hard. Jacobs seemed like he was poised for a monster game in the rain, but they just stopped going to him. The score had a way of dictating some of that sure, but this dude finished the game averaging 7.3 a carry and only got 13 totes. How?

P.P.S. Robert Saleh might be bad vibes and he may have to be irrationally fired as a consultant even if none of this was his fault
