Rico's Blog Was Right About Reags' Blog Being Right

It's no secret that things have been getting pretty contentious here lately. There's been a Barstool Civil War brewing, and you've got guys like Tate trying to take down an entire office by himself. Now a lot of people may not realize this, but I've been blogging here at Barstool Sports [dot] com for a decade at this point. And throughout my time here, there's always been a competitive spirit to the place. Everybody is always looking to be at the top. You want to have the blog that goes viral, or the show that is doing the best numbers. And in order to do that, you need to beat out everybody else.

Some people view this place as a league, and they're trying to beat everybody else along the way. Other people view this place as a team, and that we're all working together. I've been a locker room guy my entire life. I've never been the best athlete on a team, but I'll always be the guy who is looking to hype of the fellas, and really get the boys going. Nothing brings me more joy in life than a little camaraderie (took me a couple tries to spell that one).

So when I see a guy like Rico come out and write a blog giving props to Reags' blog? Well that warms my heart right there. Nothing like seeing the boys support each other on the blog instead of using it as a war zone to try to textually eviscerate each other. One team, one heartbeat. But to be perfectly fair, I don't really give a shit about college basketball so I'm not going to read either blog. I'll at least click on them though to drive up that traffic. Because that's what being a locker room guy is all about.
