Ja Morant Is Must Watch TV After Pulling Off Not One But Two Awesome 360s In The Same Game

There are a lot of "Must Watch" players in the NBA, but when he's healthy I'm not sure how many guys you're putting ahead of Ja Morant. It's not quite "stop everything you're doing and watch Steph Curry go nuclear" like we had in 2016, but few players give you more incredible holy shit moments than Morant.

To help illustrate what I'm talking about, may I present to you what Ja Morant decided to do in Brooklyn. While monster dunks certainly get their rightful amount of play, give me a super athletic 360 layup every day of the week

I mean that rules. The distance Morant take off from, the way he was able to have complete control of his body as he pulled off the 360 into an off hand under the rim left handed layup?? That's not exactly normal. I cannot imagine thinking of doing something like that let alone pulling it off flawlessly.

Now, if a player has a move like this even one time during a game, it's notable. It's a viral moment and an incredible finish. Well, what happens when that player doesn't just do it once, but does it twice?

You see, this is why I am begging Ja Morant to stay off social media. I know that's not fair but until we can trust that he won't do some dumb shit that will ultimately get him suspended and rob us of moments like this, it's the only option. No tweeting, no IG, no Facebook lives, no TikTok, no LinkedIn. Nothing. We can revisit at the All Star Break or something because after his massive suspension and then his season ending injury, it feels like forever since we've had a full season of insane Morant highlights. As someone who very much prefers the best players on the planet play basketball games, I would like to see more of Morant over the next 5+ months.

Morant certainly has had his fair share of incredible posters/dunks

but plays like those 360s will always get the juices flowing for me. There's just something rare about them that when you see it in a game it's almost poetic. Great plays, great player.
