Luka Doncic Did What He Does Best After Getting Absolutely DOGGED By Ben Mathurin - Complains About It

The name "Benedict" is synonymous with being a traitor, but never thought I'd see a grown man named Bennedict that's a cold blooded killer. BUT, I've bee saying it since Day 1: Bennedict Mathurin is an absolute DAWG. After a rocky start to the season, Mathurin got his chance to start last night, and not only did Benny get buckets like he always does, but even looked strong rebounding the ball.

BUT,  what everyone is talking about is Mathurin getting caught in 4k completely cooking Luka and driving to the basket with the game on the line. Then, Mathurin followed it up with with an ELITE step back 3 right in Luka's grill, and some good ol' fashion shit talking.

How did Luka respond? Crying and complaining like he always does. Love me some Luka, but his bitching when things don't go his way is getting to be unbearable, because this statement isn't true.

Here come the front runner comments. But, if you watched the game, Mathurin was chirping Luka the entire game, AND if you know anything about Mathurin, this guy isn't afraid of a single soul in the NBA. Not even King James himself. Before a rookie Mathurin played a minute in the NBA, he saying one of the greatest players to play the game was going to have to prove to Mathurin he was the greatest player on the planet. Did Mathurin turn up the shit talking when the game was clinched? Probably. You've got to dunk on your opponent when you've won. Rubbing salt in the wound is one of the most satisfying feelings after a victory. Pile on, baby.

People laughed at Pacers' fans last season for saying Mathurin missing the playoffs due to injury was a huge loss for Indiana. A guy averaging 15 points a game isn't going to change things, but they call him Big Game Benny for a reason. When the lights are bright, this guy balls out. Haliburton is extremely talented, but Mathurin has that killer instinct and edge that this team is missing. Everyone has been wondering who will be the guy to step up and become the 3rd in the Pacers' big 3, and if last night was any indication of what's to come, that guy is Mathurin.
