Joel Embiid Revolutionized Load Management By Just Getting Suspended Instead

The past few days has been nothing but a resounding victory for Joel Embiid.

For starters, he got to physically emasculate the piece of shit "columnist" who took the opportunity to use Embiid's child and late brother to shit on him for not playing. Marcus Hayes is a scumbag, and Joel Embiid was every bit in his right to go after the guy. To make it better, he merely shoved the guy and had the categorization of "assault" being thrown out there. Didn't throw a single punch, didn't tackle him to the ground or anything. Just shoved the guy, and that was enough for people to be concerned for the well-being of Marcus Hayes.

At that moment, Marcus Hayes found out that actions have consequences. His actions of writing that bullshit column carried the consequence of getting little boy'd by Joel Embiid. It goes both ways, however. So now Joel Embiid's actions of shoving Marcus Hayes carry the consequence of getting suspended for 3 games by the NBA.

3 games that he probably wasn't going to play anyway. But now he gets to sit them out because he did the city of Philadelphia a massive favor by putting Marcus Hayes in his place. It's no longer load management, it's being a hero.

Sure, these 3 games he has to miss are now going to be without pay. But the man signed a 3-year, $193 million contract extension. I think he can afford to miss a few games. Also, I wouldn't be shocked to hear that the Sixers end up picking up the check for him anyway considering how warranted the shove was.

So here's my offer to Joel Embiid--if he wants to sit out any more games without it getting labeled as load management, I'll happily step in as the shove guy. Bring me into the locker room, launch me into a few walls, take another 3 games suspension, and let me get just one of those game checks. That way we can also stop giving Marcus Hayes the attention that he so desperately seeks. Seems pretty fair to me.
