A Veteran's Reflection On Tuesday's Results

TWENTY FIVE?! Does the CFP committee hate the troops? My blog:

Short answer is no, they do not but maybe they do a little bit. Unless you've been under a rock, you are well aware that Army is having a historic season and by historic I mean steamrolling every team they put in front of us to an 8-0 record. We even beat our lesser rival last weekend on the back of our monster defense and led by a strong willed backup QB (shout to the backup QB community. That one was for us) because our Heisman-candidate starter was out with an injury.

People are going to clammer about our schedule but hey you still need to beat the teams they put in front of you. We aren't exactly squeaking out wins either.

We are a quality ball club and it is just tough to stomach seeing teams with 2 and 3 losses ahead of you in these rankings. How do you combat that? It's pretty simple really

We need to just win the AAC and force their hand. I'm happy that we are in the conversation, especially in its first year, but if you fight for your limitations you get to keep them. I'm not content to just be there in the convo and I don't think anyone in the locker room is happy with that either. One game at a time though and this week we have a massive test against North Texas.

Speaking of guys stepping up, I was especially pleased to see Kanye Udoh (a Jersey product btw) take a moment to recognize his teammate last week for stepping into an impossible position and handling it with poise. These are the types of kids you want to see leading our Army's Soldiers.

Anywho, since nothing else is going on I suggest you check out this week's Zero Blog Thirty.
