Jeremy Roenick Made Hockey History By Becoming First Guy to Talk About His Dick and Balls in His Hall of Fame Speech

Jeremy Roenick is one of the greatest Americans to ever play the game of hockey. Last night he became one of the greatest players in general after getting inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

Everybody knows Jeremy Roenick for his prolific goal scoring and ability to fly on the ice. If we never heard a word from Jeremy Roenick, he'd still be a Hall of Famer because his stats and his style of play would speak for themselves. But for anybody who grew up in the 90s/early 2000s, we love JR because he was the ultimate entertainer. Constant shit talker, all-time rabble rouser. So it only makes sense that during his HHoF induction speech that he'd give the folks in the crowd a little extra buzz. And nothing gets the crowd buzzing like some wrench talk.

Everybody goes up there and gives thanks to all the teammates and coaches who helped them achieve the greatness they had in their career. Everybody goes up there and gives praise and respect to all the opponents they battled against through all those years. Everybody goes up there and gets a little choked up when talking about the family and loved ones who supported them along the way.

But nobody goes up there and talks about their dick and balls. Nobody, that is, besides Jeremy Roenick. If the man has an opportunity to mix some locker room talk into the function, he's going to take that opportunity 11 times out of 10. Because for as great of a player as Jeremy Roenick was on the ice, he was an even bigger locker room guy. Guys with as big of personalities as Jeremy Roenick aren't always completely beloved by all their teammates. Sometimes a big personality turns some guys away. But if anybody doesn't love JR, then that's a personal problem.
