Win For The Little Guy: Pat McAfee & Aaron Rodgers Duped By Internet Troll With a Completely Made Up Statistic About Jared Goff

There's something rewarding about watching the folks at ESPN be fooled by an internet troll. It's a win for the little guy. A win for people of the internet as a whole. That some asshole with a halfway decent following can from his bed, without really thinking about it at all, just fire off some made-up nonsense about Jared Goff's record in 4+ INT games, and the next day on THE WORLDWIDE LEADER IN SPORTS, you have Pat McAfee, A.J. Hawk, and future hall of famer Aaron Rodgers all nodding along in agreement, confirming the validity of this completely fabricated stat. Looking like big ol' dumb-dumbs.

I choose to think about it that way. As opposed to thinking about how it's actually kind of sad that people are fooled by fake news this god damn easily. That nobody even bothers to double check information anymore. What does that say about society? That's the unfortunate state our country is in. That's how freaking Donal-- just kidding. It's a funny video. Hahaha what big dumb idiots Pat McAfee and Aaron Rodgers are. How do they not understand how the internet works??? We would never be fooled by something so foolish here at Barstool Sports.

Any time you get a chance to reference the Edgartown Shark incident you have to do it. If you're unfamiliar, click the link in the screenshot above. The blog is still up (although it unfortunately now has Dave's correction).

But well played, @MasterCiv. It wasn't much. I don't think will be the nail in the coffin for the ESPN. Or impact them in any way whatsoever. But it made me smile.
