Forecaster Frank NFL Week 11: November Pain
I was fantastic last week, posting a record of 11-3. My overall record for the season is 87-61-3.
Thursday Night
- Phi -3.5 (o/u 48.5)
- Eagles 34 Commanders 20
A crucial NFC East matchup with first place on the line. The Eagles come into the game playing their best football of the season, while the Commanders have hit a bit of a wall. The Eagles' experience will be the key in this game as they get control of the division.
Sunday at 1
- GB 5.5 (o/u 40.5)
- Packers 31 Bears 16
The Bears have issues. Caleb Williams is struggling, and the team is turning against coach Matt Eberflus. Now they face the Packers, a team that has beaten the Bears ten straight games. That will not change.
- Det -13 (o/u 47)
- Lions 41 Jaguars 13
The Lions rallied to beat the Texans last week despite five interceptions from Jared Goff. Their offense is rolling, the same cant be said for the Jaguars who have stumbled out of the gate and have the looks of a team that has quit on the season.
- Mia -7 (o/u 44)
- Dolphins 31 Raiders 10
The Dolphins finally found their game last week, beat the Rams on Monday night. The Raiders come into the game with five straight losses. They appear to be checked out mentally, going east for an early kickoff, so don't expect a big effort from the Raiders of the lost cause.
- LAR -4.5 (o/u 43.5)
- Rams 27 Patriots 17
The Rams stumbled on Monday against the Dolphins, while the Patriots got a second straight win in Chicago. It is hard to imagine them getting a third straight win, as the Rams, needing a bounce back, get their best effort.
- Cle +1 (o/u 44.5)
- Browns 24 Saints 20
The Saints won their first game for interim coach Darren Rizzi last week. That is the interim boost, and it will not last. This game could be a Jameis Winston revenge game as he shreds his former team and eats the W.
- Ind +4 (o/u 43.5)
- Colts 31 Jets 20
The Jets are completely broken. The Aaron Rodgers era is a bigger bust than Joker 2. Expect Joe Flacco to come out strong as he beats his former team and ends the last dying ember of New York's playoff hopes.
- Pit +3 (o/u 48)
- Steelers 23 Ravens 20
This division rivalry always lends itself to a great game. The Steelers, being home dogs, are underestimating just how great they have played this season, as T.J. Watt is having a monster season. As usual, it will be decided by a field goal and may go to overtime.
- Min -6 (o/u 39.5)
- Vikings 24 Titans 9
The Titans are one of the worst teams in the NFL. Expect this game to be low-scoring, as the Vikings' offense is sputtering. However, their defense will deliver another easy win on the road.
Sunday Late Games
- Atl +2.5 (o/u 44)
- Falcons 24 Broncos 13
These two teams have been bipolar all season. Some weeks, they look like contenders, and others like pretenders. After their heart-wrenching loss in Kansas City, the Broncos will have a hangover, as the Falcons typically play well following losses and on the road.
- SF -6.5 (o/u 48)
- 49ers 38 Seahawks 17
The 49ers might be ready to go on a run, now that Christian McCaffery has returned. Expect a big day from CMC as the Niners run away from the sinking Seahawks.
- Buf -2 (o/u 45.5)
- Bills 30 Chiefs 20
The Chiefs are 9-0 but have struggled to cover all season. They should have lost last week to the Broncos. Their run is due to end, and the Bills are the right team to do it. Buffalo is playing well and needs this win to get a chance for home-field and to send a message for January.
Sunday Night
- Cin +1.5 (o/u 48)
- Bengals 27 Chargers 24
The Bengals have been the NFL's hard-luck team all season. They have had agonizing losses and are sitting with their playoff hopes in doubt. They need a big win, and this is when they get it.
Monday Night
- Hou -7.5 (o/u 42)
- Texans 38 Cowboys 13
The Texans have had some frustrating losses in the past two weeks but are in firm control of the AFC South. The Cowboys are a hot mess, as Jerry Jones is sniping at reporters simply asking about closing a shade to avoid sun glare. This one will be more aggregation for Big D.
