The Beef Between Jaylen Brown And Nike Remains Strong After Nike Basketball Took A Shot At Jaylen While Celebrating Giannis' Huge Night

Last night against the Pistons, Giannis went absolutely nuclear to put the Bucks on his back and save them from what would have been yet another disaster loss. You could argue he singlehandedly saved their season

I'm pretty sure he had 22 of the first 24 points for the Bucks or something crazy like that, and while their team may be a bit of a dumpster fire at the moment from the top down, one person who you can't really blame any of this on is Giannis. He's been as good as ever and is off to yet another historic start.

On a night like this, obviously there's going to be praise (for good reason), because again, look at that stat line. Sure it needed OT but whatever. It's as dominant as dominant gets. Of all the praise Giannis received last night, you couldn't help but notice a certain account and how they chose to give props

Well well well, what do we have here?

We all know Jaylen Brown and Nike have beef. That's been well documented. And while I don't think this was Phil Knight himself subtweeting Jaylen like that, we all know the social media manager knew what they were doing. At the very least someone had to sign off on it knowing full well what was happening. Frankly, it's pretty weak in my opinion, as are all subtweets. If you want to talk shit, say it with your chest and @ the guy.

It does sort of give credence to Jaylen's accusations that Nike was somewhat involved with all the Team USA bullshit, because there are plenty of ways to give Giannis the praise he deserves without having to include Jaylen Brown. I'm not even sure what the point of the tweet is? Giannis acted like a child in his interaction with Jaylen, he even pretty much admitted it after the game. But hey, that's the social media game. The tweet went viral, people are talking about it, so just like always we see brands/talk shows/podcasts have to use the Celtics for interaction. Very sad!

Out of all the responses to that tweet, this one is probably the leader in the clubhouse

It just goes to show that despite Grant Hill and Team USA trying to make Jaylen out to be some sort of conspiracy theorist, there's obvious bad blood between the two sides. Who knows if we'll ever get the full details around what has led us to this situation, but it's pretty hard to deny at this point.
