Joey Galloway Says Indiana Should Sit QB Kurtis Rourke Against Ohio State in One of the More Idiotic Ideas You'll Ever Hear

Uhhhhh ... ok. According to Joey Galloway, Indiana should sit starting quarterback Kurtis Rourke in the Hoosiers' lone meaningful game of the season because of what happened to Jordan Travis and Florida State last year.

This is just so insane for so many reasons. First of all, there are obviously eight more spots available in this year's College Football Playoff compared to last year. If FSU lost Travis this season en route to going 13-0, they'd have been in no problem even without the fact they'd have gotten in automatically as one of the five highest-ranked conference champions.

But even putting that aside, what the fuck is Galloway talking about? Indiana has not played a team with a pulse this entire season. They have one chance to prove they even belong on the same field as an actual title contender and you're going to sit your quarterback? I would hope the CFP committee would have enough common sense to completely disqualify the Hoosiers if they actually did this. You don't get to play the 106th-toughest schedule in America for 12 weeks and then sit starters for your only game against a quality opponent.

What an all-time take from Joey. I'm actually rooting for IU to do this now, get beat by 50 and celebrate their outstanding 11-1 season with a trip to the Citrus Bowl.
