Contrary To Reports, Lil' Baby DID NOT Graduate From Harvard Business School, But He Did Complete Their 'Launching New Adventures' Program And That is Commendable in it's Own Right

There's a lot of fake news circulating the internet these days. It can be very upsetting. Usually when you see people get upset about fake news, the news has some sort of political angle. However, I prefer getting upset about news that's far less consequential. News that much, much less people care about. But it's the principle of the matter. When I see something circulating the internet that is just a blatant lie, it's my responsibly as a journalist of Barstool Sports to make sure that at least one reasonably sized platform is reporting the truth.

I'm a Lil' Baby fan myself. I haven't been keeping up with his music lately, but there was a time a few years back where he was daily listening for me. So I don't mean to belittle his accomplishment. But the man simply did not graduate from an Ivy League university. He did not complete the two-year, full-time, STEM-designated MBA program with a general management curriculum focused on real-world practice that earns you a degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School.

Dominique Armani Jones (Armani Jones, fantastic wide receiver name btw) aka Lil' Baby, completed Harvard's Launching New Ventures program. The program requires 7 days on the Harvard Business School campus and 12-15 hours of pre-program work. Here is a photo of him with his mostly regularly sized classmates.

Can we not celebrate that in it's own right? That's a great accomplishment. Lil' Baby enrolled in a business program at Harvard. By all accounts he passed with flying colors. On top of that, he's donated millions of dollars to charities across the world. He really seems to be an incredible guy who deserved to be celebrated for many reasons. He sets an awesome example for people in a world where other biggest names in rap like Young Thug & Gunna are caught up in a RICO trial. Lil Durk is facing life in prison on a murder-for-hire charge. Kodak Black is going viral for tweaking out on a YouTube stream.

Even Snoop Dogg is balls deep in a concerning, decade-plus long acid trip.

Just kidding Snoop Dogg. I think you're doing great.

The fact that Lil' Baby is bettering himself by doing anything even college-adjacent is amazing. But god damn it… why do we have to lie about everything? Sorry if I'm getting to high on a horse here. Obviously this is the internet, and people embellish flat out lie all the time because it gets more clicks, and more clicks equal more money. But when people say, "Lil' Baby Graduated from Harvard Business School", then you have people rushing to the comments to issue corrections. Then those people are told to fuck off and to just let him have his accomplishment. Then they say, "I'm not saying that I'm just saying he didn't fucking graduate from Harvard". Then before you know they're hurling slurs at each other and arguing the 3rd amendment.

Congratulations to Lil' Baby on his achievement. Congrats on all the success. It's great to see a rapper setting a good example, and using his platform to promote education. And it's a whole lot more of an accomplishment than the celebrities who get honorary degrees for seemingly no reason other than that they're famous and donated a little money.
