After Last Night's Myles Garrett vs. TJ Watt Showdown, Jon Gruden Ranks His Top 5 EDGE Rushers

Myles Garrett and TJ Watt squared off last night in what most people view as a matchup between the top two pass rushers in the NFL. Garrett dominated the game finishing with 3.0 sacks and propelled his team to a victory. Jon Gruden weighed in online with his top 5 EDGE Rushers and they are all fierce.

Let's take a closer look at each:

Myles Garrett: His size/speed combo is crazy. 6'4" 272 lbs. with 35 1/4" inch arms that runs a 4.64 40-yard dash. Not only that, he's got excellent hands and tremendous strength. Watch his jab/cross chop/rip. The progressions of the move are outstanding and there is a reason he's on this list!

TJ Watt: Speed and get-off are outstanding. But once he's got you on your heels, you're toast. Watch this speed swipe! Try blocking that moving backwards!

Maxx Crosby: They had to put two X's in his name because he's too extreme! Watch the strength, effort, and finish on his bull rush!

Nick Bosa: The 2022 Defensive Player of the Year is a technician. He does a great job timing the snap count and his hand usage is elite. Mixed with his speed, effort, and finish, there is no doubt Nick Bosa is a top pass rusher.

Trey Hendrickson: Even after Garrett's big night last night, he's still leading the league in sacks with 11.5 in 11 games. It's no fluke as he's had 53.0 sacks in the last four years. At 6'4" 270 lbs., he's a bigger Defensive End and his power jumps off the screen. His hand placement is also terrific, watch him get into the LT's chest here and then explode!
