This Superman Punch Belongs In The Hockey Hall of Fame

Holy balls.

That was one of the most devastating punches recorded in human history. Buddy took a 10' long landing strip to throw down one of the cleanest Superman punches you'll see on ice. One punch, smell ya later, time to let the celly begin.

And what a celly it was. There have been 108 Stanley Cups won throughout the history of the NHL. That means that at some point, 108 guys have scored a Stanley Cup winning goal in their career. I don't think any of them have ever celebrated as hard as this legend did after landing that Superman.

For starters, shoutout to the guy controlling the goal horn. That's a man who was built for this moment. Not a moment's hesitation on pulling the trigger there. His fist was still glued to the other guy's skull before the goal horn went off. Then you get the full lap, a few high fives from the boys, a couple "goodnights". This clip is 30 seconds long and 28 of those seconds were spent celebrating. Unbelievable.

So yeah. I'm not sure what the deal is with the Hockey Hall of Fame these days. I haven't been there since I was like 12. Are they putting videos into the Hall? If they are, this clip deserves it's own shrine. Play it on repeat for the rest of eternity.
