People On Twitter Are Falling For This AI Generated Video Of A Man Using A 100,000 Lumen Flashlight To Escape From The Police
Listen, it's a slower day on the Internet. Not much is going on besides Biz going 1v7 in a heroic effort to save a local business from the most scumbag golfers you've ever seen, and Jordie already covered that pretty well. But what seems to be going viral is this video that I've seen no less than 40 times on my for you page in the last few days on Twitter. We hear a lot about AI taking over, everything from OnlyFans models to blog output on Barstool SPORTS. Even Dave is subject to being "AI'd to death":
I don't even know what to say about the state of society other than the fact that I calculated at least 250 MILLION views on this video, and an overwhelming majority of people seem to think it's real. Ignore the Community Note slapped across the video, or the license plate clearly being fake, or maybe just maybe the large disclaimer on the top saying it's AI, and all you've got is a pretty cool video that millions of people are clamoring over.
I don't even know what 100,000 lumens looks like, but according to this Amazon listing, you can get one for $20.79 on a Black Friday deal:
Something about using a legitimate solar flare to detract cops and probably cause 20 crashes behind you seems dystopian, but at least we have this cool video to show you what it'd look like after all? It looked like a god damn Pixar light! Anyway, I guess this is life in Elon's monetized X because you don't even want to know how much money a video like this is generating. Nothing left to do besides go touch grass and see some actual reality because one more week of this shit on Twitter and I might actually just start AI generating blogs.
