All My Teams Suck: Arsenal Drop Two HUGE Points Against Fulham

When it comes to sports, it seems I can’t catch a break. If I were to compare my luck in sports to a trip to a strip club in Bangkok, here’s the analogy: imagine having 100 beautiful strippers approach you, inviting you to the back room, and somehow, you end up picking the one with a dick. That’s exactly how it feels to be an Arsenal fan. Out of all the teams in the Premier League, I had to choose the one that’s the spitting image of the Miami Dolphins—always full of promise, yet perpetually disappointing.

For the first time all season, Arsenal finally looked like a team capable of winning the league. They had Zah and me absolutely buzzing. Zah was so fired up he even booked a flight to London to watch them play in person. The energy, the hope—it was all there. And then, just as quickly as it came, it all crumbled. They dropped points to Fulham. Yes, Fulham. No disrespect to Fulham; they’re a quality side. But seriously, Arsenal, what on earth were you doing out there?

On a weekend where Manchester City drew with Crystal Palace and Liverpool’s match was postponed, the opportunity was golden. A win against Fulham would have put us just four points behind Liverpool. Sure, they might have an extra game in hand, but the psychological difference between being four points back versus six points back is immense. It’s the kind of difference that keeps fans dreaming—or in this case, despairing.

To make matters worse, Chelsea pulled off a stunning comeback, overturning a 2-0 deficit on the road against Tottenham to leapfrog us in the table. And, honestly, I can admit it: they’re better than us right now. Watching Chelsea play football is far more enjoyable than watching Arsenal’s current state of affairs.

Being a "set-piece FC" might be tolerable when you’re winning, but when you start dropping points to teams like Fulham because you can’t score in open play, it becomes downright infuriating. There’s no creativity, no spark, and seemingly no plan when the initial setup falters.

Something has to change, and it has to happen quickly. Mikel Arteta needs to figure this out—fast—or this season will be over before it even truly begins. Arsenal fans deserve better than this perpetual rollercoaster of false hope and bitter disappointment.
